Poetic Justice for CAPS

It's poetic justice for CAPS at the former Pet Works Pet Store in the San Diego area. After nearly two years of CAPS protests at Pet Works, the San Diego Humane Society 'moved into' the space last weekend and used the store for a major weekend-long adoption event! It is our hope that mall management in the Grossmont Center in La Mesa will offer the space as a permanent location for the SDHS. Sydney Cicourel, CAPS San Diego Campaign Coordinator said, 'It is win-win for the mall and for companion animals needing homes. After all, mall store fronts for area shelters and rescue groups is the 'new black!'
