CAPS Rescue Fund

Gizmo

The CAPS Rescue Fund benefits from your support. CAPS has rescued a number of puppy mills dogs during its investigations of USDA licensed facilities. We have placed most of these dogs in wonderful homes. A few older dogs are in long-term foster care, and CAPS is responsible for the cost of their care. Not only will your donation help with the expenses for the foster dogs, but it will also help cover veterinary bills, including spaying and neutering, for additional dogs that we rescue from puppy mills.

Introducing the Models Against Pet Shops and Puppy Mills media campaign from The Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS).

More than an advertising campaign, this is the story of how two people, connected by the Internet, came together to work for a cause that is close to their hearts and bigger than the both of them.

It shows how people with different but complimentary strengths can coordinate a large group of talent to produce a campaign that shines a light on inhumane breeding facilities and the pet shops that buy from them.

The campaign took countless hours and legions of volunteers including a group of Dallas fashion models, rescue organizations, rescue dogs, clothing stylists, makeup artists, photographer, videographer, and more - all in the name of a greater good.

Most of the hard work is behind us but we need your help now.

With limited funds and resources, we are asking friends of CAPS to tell your friends about the campaign and help us spread the word through social media. Please visit our Models website page to learn more about the makings of the campaign and see how you can contribute.

Most of all, your tax-deductible donation to CAPS is needed to fund our continuing investigative programs and to purchase media space for our informative Public Service Announcement (PSA) and print ads.

With gratitude,

CAPS President, Deborah Howard
