How did you hear about shop walked by the store in the mall
Please describe conditions There we at least 2-3 dogs per glass cage, many seemed to big to be in there. All animals appeared to have food and water. My situation: I purchased a puppy 1/20/2014, after first seeing it on Saturday 1/18/2014. I was told the puppy was a male and AKC. Per their paperwork, they had 120 days to provide me with the registration paperwork. 120 days was May 21, 2014. I have contacted the store multiple times and keep getting the run around. As of 8/1/2014, the store was sold back to BARKWORKS (though the sign on the store front has always said BARKWORKS and some of the purchase paperwork also say BARKWORKS). I still do not have my paperwork, which I was told 6-9-14 is ACA not AKC as I was told when I purchased her, and they refuse to honor their agreement of a 75% refund if the papers were not provided in time. In addition, the pup was advertised as a male until 5 mins before I swiped my card and ALL of the paperwork I received at the time of purchase states that my dog is male, when in fact it is a female. They said it was an error on their part and I thought nothing of it at the time. Less than 24hrs after I purchased the pup, we were in an ER vet where she was diagnosed w/ Parvo and Giardia. The vet in the ER said that my dog was much older than they stated in their paperwork, and I have had 2 other vets tell me the same thing. I think the pet store lied about my dog, and she is not the dog I have paperwork for. I have spoken to the breeder on the phone, and though he confirmed the paperwork I have is from him, he does not think the dog I have came from him. He too had a bad experience with the owners, Robin and Sonna, and stopped doing business with him after a month. They still owe the broker for the dogs he sent as well. The owners left no contact number when they left, only their website which lists the barkworks phone number. The manager of barkworks says they cannot help me and have no affiliation.
