| Diseases and Illnesses | Addisons Disease. Tristan was diagnosed in 2008 with Addisons Disease. We almost lost her, and took her to the emergency vet in Downers Grove on Memorial Day weekend. She was literally on the brink of death. They were able to keep her alive, but afterward she had to have blood test, shots and prednezone monthly. It was extrememly expensive, but she was our baby and we love her. Also, since the day she came home she was never able to learn to be completely housebroken. TO the day she died she still went in the house. This was a huge inconvenience and cost for carpet cleaning |
