| Diseases and Illnesses | My dog has had problems since day one. He is only two years old, and I have spent thousands of dollars on medications, surgery, etc... He has allergies to everything, and my vet can no longer treat him. For the last two years he has been steroids and other drugs that have long term effects in order to limit his pain/irritation. I am going to a specialist next week to get more intensive treatment and will probably have to spend even more money for a lifetime of treatment.
He has reactions to his vaccines as well. He had to have surgery last summer to remove a lump in his hip.
He has earaches, eye infections, etc... all the time. The vet has joked that he is the sweetest dog ever, but has more problems than any other dog she has seen.
In terms of his vet history, we first took him to the vet the store suggested. We later took him to a different vet due to lack of customer service from the original vet. |

| How did you hear about shop | They are in a local mall near our house. At first I was first nervous to purchase him, but they committed to me that they did not get him from puppy mill. they promised he came from a small breeder. I trusted what i was told and purchased our dog. While he is such a sweet, lovely animal... I feel so sorry for all of his problems. The poor guy has been through hell and back with med, treatment, etc... |
| Please describe conditions | The actual pet shop was fine inside. They were very friendly, pets were kept clean, as were their beds. ALTHOUGH, when I finally got the breeder information, I was shocked to find out horrible details.
The link below is a report on the Pine Valley Cuties breeder out of Fresno, OH. Daniel Schlabach is on your list of selling at actions, which is how I found your website in the first place. I have cried twice today thinking about what my loving dog went through in the first 8 weeks of his life. I am also sick to my stomach thinking about his parents, and whether they are even still alive and what they have been through.

I would never take back getting my dog, because he is like a baby to me, but I am very sad that I supported such a practice. I will do everything in my power to educate others of what is going on. But I hope you have the power to stop Furry Babies from continuing to purchase from such a breeder and telling their customers a different story.
