| Diseases and Illnesses | He will need dental surgery as he has severe tarter buildup as well as teeth that are ready to fall out it makes it difficult for him to eat so we put his food in a food processor he also has a tumor in between his right leg and private part that will need to be monitored and possibly removed in the future as he will not be able to urinate is the mass increases in size we also were told he was 4 years old and is also on document date whelped 08/04/08 however our vet puts his age at 8-10 years old we lost our Oscar who passed on Thanksgiving morning we were not ready to take on a senior and go through that heart ache again but we have him and he is a love so we will take care of him he is a part of us now we were also told he was being re-homed from an older woman who went into assisted living however his behavior indicated some thing different we have since discovered that he was more then likely a puppy mill dog the vet stated the callous on his chest indicates being kept in a cage when I called puppy parlor and asked for proof of age and prior vet I was told I cant give you a copy of his registration and I will call the foster parents to date I have heard nothing she also claimed her vet would do the surgery for 150.00 an hour later it went to 99.00 this is coming from a vet who has never seen our pet this will cause financial hardship as My Husband is unemployed but he relies on us for care and we will not let him down we have to be his voice as he does not have one our vet said he does not bark as he never developed the behavior to be a dog this broke my heart and strengthened my resolve to be his voice in this matter |
