| Diseases and Illnesses | The puppy had puss filled calluses on his legs from sitting on bars all day. Puppy is severely underweight with a very poor appetite. Has gone through 2 separate rounds of antibiotics to cure a bladder infection, both times unsuccessful. We are waiting to hear back from the vet about the results of the most recent culture to see what more, if any, antibiotics are needed, or if it is curable. Every single tooth in the puppies mouth is chipped or severely broken as a result of distemper and high fever during teething. According to the last vet visit, the puppy had distemper, survived through it, but the high fever and illness caused his permanent teeth to not develop properly before they came out of the gums, resulting in little to no enamel and very fragile and sensitive teeth. We will be discussing further treatment and what to expect in the future for him having 'survived' distemper at the next vet visit, which should be in a couple days. |
| When illness begin end | The calluses went down shortly after being taken out of the pet shop. Otherwise, the puppy has been ill since the day we bought him in January. According to his previous records (given to me by Happiness is Pets), he has suffered two ear infections and a cold before we even purchased him. supposedly he had only been at the store for 30 days. |

| Please describe conditions | The shop is fairly clean The animals are housed in what looks like fish tanks, except the floor of the tanks are wire. Some of the smaller breeds feet are even tiny enough to get caught in them. Every time I had visited, several cages had notices saying the puppy was not available for playtime due to a 'cold'. |
