| Diseases and Illnesses | Our puppy was diagnosed with Parvo virus, upper respitory infection, urinary tract infection and Giardia five days after he arrived. He survived Parvo however, he then became seriously ill from the damage caused by Parvo. This left him with an extremely and dangerously low white blood cell count and he was septic from the deterioration of the lining of his intestines. |
| When illness begin end | Symptoms began 1/30/2012 and he was hospitalized on 2/01/2012. The symptoms started on the third day that we had him and the fifth day he was hospitalized.He was treated by an emergency care hospital. The Doctors said that the puppy definitely came to me already infected with the Parvo virus. I was told he could die at any time. Thankfully they performed a miracle and our puppy came home on 2/9/2012 nine days after he was admitted. |
