| Diseases and Illnesses | We purchased our puppy and immediately took him to Naperville Animal Hospital for a health exam. (NAH is associated with Happiness is Pets.) Our puppy received a clean bill of health, except for a prescription that he needed for an eye infection. After a week, however, our puppy started having seizures so we took Jim back to NAH who made it clear he was severely ill. Upon hearing this, we 'returned' the puppy to HIP who had him euthanized a few days later. I called NAH several times after to see if it was distemper and the vet would only say that it was likely, 'hard to tell because his vaccines records were off'. I found this all very odd and thought it necessary to share after hearing all the news stories about HIP recently. |
