| Diseases and Illnesses | She was 7 weeks when we purchased her--way too young. She'd already been transported from the puppy mill from where she was born to Hunte then to NC for Petland. She was very lethargic when we brought her home.
She has been plagued with chronic UTIs and kidney problems--very painful. |
| When illness begin end | When we bought her she immediately had terrible diarhea and was lethargic. We took her to the Petland vet--Dr Schoolmeister of Stonecrest Veterinary--and he diagnosed her as having Giardia and we had to give her Panacur (which the sales records indicate she was getting at Petland, too, as well as Metronidazole) for several days.

The poor puppy was hot and very lethargic and we had to give her water with an eyedropper till she pulled through.

| Please describe conditions | Knowing what I know now (I was a total novice at the time I purchased my dogs at Petland and knew NOTHING), I know that our dog was lethargic in that glass crate at Petland. She was much too young at 7 weels. They were propping her up with Albon, Metronidazole, Nutrient gel, Panacur, Puppy Aid and Vanguard Plus at Peland. |
