Over 100 protestors gathered at the I HEART PUPPIES Anti Puppy Mill and Pro Adoption Rally held at I Heart Puppies located at 2801 E. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar. Investigators from CAPS (Companion Animal Protection Society) determined through exhaustive investigation that the store is in business with inhumane, substandard breeding operations in the Midwest where dogs are confined for life in wire cages. Because the dogs are unable to mobilize on their own behalf, CAPS has graciously undertaken the task.

Dave Simon, an attorney for CAPS, said the motion was filed last week under California's anti-SLAPP statue, and has the effect of not only dismissing the lawsuit but also of providing a mandatory attorneys' fees award.
